To help support the community, the Thursday, August 13, performance has been deemed "Community Theatre, Community Thursday." All profits from ticket sales from this 7:00 pm performance will be donated to the Watertown Humane Society.
The mission of the Watertown Humane Society is to provide for the lost, homeless, neglected and abused animals of the City of Watertown and surrounding communities it contracts with and to educate and enlighten the public regarding animal welfare.
Theatre goers are also encouraged to bring donations of cat chow, kitten chow, non-scoopable cat litter, Bully Sticks for dogs or general supplies such as paper towels and tall kitchen garbage bags. "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" is based on the comic strip, "Peanuts®" by Charles M. Schulz. "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" portrays an average day in the life of Charlie Brown, his friends, and, of course, his best friend, Snoopy. The show is filled with wonderful songs including "Suppertime," "My New Philosophy," "My Blanket and Me," "Beethoven Day," "Happiness" and many more. A colorful set and childish fun make this a heart-warming show that the whole family will love!
