Breakfast

Went for an early morning drive recently. Slowed down to photograph a barn and noticed this little guy up on a post having some breakfast.

Little stinkers

Okay. I couldn't resist the title for this photo. Was out for an early morning photography drive last summer. Turned on to a back road and came across this family of skunks. Photo isn't quite as clear as I would have liked, but I shot it through the windshield. For some reason I just did not think it was a good idea to get out of the car for this photo.

Two deer

Yes. Really. There are two deer in this photo. Had stopped along a back country road and noticed the first deer watching me. Then I noticed the second one. They were both very hard to see.

Two curious fawns

On a Friday morning in July I took an early morning drive with the camera. Almost home and I noticed these two sweet curious fawns. They let me get several photos before they ran off.

Still keeping watch

I drove back a few minutes later to see if the fawn was up. He was back down but she was keeping watch over her little one.

Doe and fawn

As I was taking photos of the doe her fawn tried to get up. I had no clue the fawn was there at first. The fawn tried to get up and stumbled a bit. I never did see the fawn stand up all the way. I drove away so I would not continue to scare him.

As I was out for a drive I saw this doe in a field. She let me take her photo. But she watched me closely!

Bald eagle

I finally found the bald eagle near where I work.

Deer silhoette

Went for a drive the other night to get pictures of the strawberry moon. On the way home saw this wonderful silhoette of a young buck.
