Sunflower seeds

Last summer we planted giant sunflower seeds. They were huge. We cut some of the flower heads off in the fall and had them on the deck and ground to make it easier for the birds to get to the seeds.

Our landlords planted a few fields by our house with a mixture of oats and peas. This is one of the flowers before it produced a pea pod.
