September sunrise

Took a drive one foggy morning right before sunrise.

OCD spider?

I have seen plenty of spiderwebs in my day. And I will see the victims of the spider rolled and in various places on the web. I have never seen a spider roll its victims and line 'em up! The wind had blown the web and made the victim roll go off center quite a bit. The next morning the spider had all the rolls back in a line again!

Hot air balloon floating by

Several miles away is a place that has hot air balloons launch from their yard. Sometimes they float over our place.

Another peaceful morning

Another view from Sage Creek Rim Road

Taken with my film camera back in 2009. Oh how I miss SD and can't wait to get back there.

Take time

Found this quote on a public domain website with tons of great quotes. Love this reminder that we need to slow down every once in awhile and just enjoy God's creation around us.

Hairy or frosty or ?

Saw these tiny water droplets on this budding ivy geranium on a foggy morning. Looks hairy or frosty.

Vines, cobwebs, waterdrops

This is the candy corn flower vining plant we have by our deck. Caught this picture on a foggy morning recently.

Egret

Saw this egret perched along the security fence by a dam in De Pere.

Another hungry caterpillar

Philippians 4:4-7 (foxglove)

Tis so sweet

I have always enjoyed singing this hymn. I never knew the story behind it. The author, Louisa Stead, wrote this after seeing her husband drown while he was trying to rescue a boy who was drowning. What great faith! What great trust she had in her Savior!
