Country Rush Hour

We have a LOT of sandhill cranes out by us. On my way to work one morning I had to wait for a few of them as they crossed the road.

In spring/early summer we put out oranges for the orioles. They usually pick them clean!

Copernicus

January 2013 we had to say good-bye to our rescue kitty Copernicus. We adopted him from a local shelter when he was a kitten and we enjoyed having him as part of our little family for 16 years. Health issues ended his life. Copernicus purred louder than any kitty we owned. Shelter kitties can be just as sweet and loving as any purebred kitty.
