The name came from a friend. We have had several conversations about the Bible verses in Matthew 10 where Jesus talks about how our Father cares for even sparrows, how much more does He care for us. I want my photography to reflect His creation and His love for us.

Tis so sweet
I have always enjoyed singing this hymn. I never knew the story behind it. The author, Louisa Stead, wrote this after seeing her husband drown while he was trying to rescue a boy who was drowning. What great faith! What great trust she had in her Savior!

Our great Savior
Recently I was watching the movie "Amazing Grace" and this line came up in the movie. It is such a powerful statement. I am a great sinner. We are all great sinners. But praise God. Jesus Christ is a great Savior!
When We All Get to Heaven
Grew up singing this wonderful hymn. Full of hope. Life here can be hard. But focus on His great love for us. And for those who have their faith and trust solely in Him, the wonderful things await us in Heaven! What a day of rejoicing that will be!

One of these things is not like the other
This flower pot had only pink impatiens planted in it. This little blue Johnny Pop Up decided it was a good place to grow.

It's a dog's life
As we were putting in our garden our dog would take breaks from running at full speed around the yard and rest under the apple trees.

Sunflower pattern
I never cease to be amazed at God's creation! The patterns and colors, etc. are incredible.
"Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars and You know them by name.
You are amazing, God!
All powerful, untameable
Awestruck we fall to our knees and humbly proclaim
You are amazing, God!
You are amazing, God!"
Lyrics by Chris Tomlin

Philippians 4:6-7
The Bible tells us many times not to be anxious, not to worry. So why do we? I suppose it's just human nature. But our Savior tells us not to worry but to pray and trust. Easier said than done but when we do pray and trust it's just so much better than being worried!
