It was quite the thrill to see four different hot air balloons aloft. Two of them were flying near each other. I was able to pull over to the side of the road and snap many photos. I was even more thrilled when someone from this balloon chase team saw me taking photos and invited me to hang out with them. It was fun to chat with them and ask them questions about their balloon.
By the way when the balloon is deflated it weights 175 pounds. They go up with about 100 pounds of propane and the basket weighs over 100 pounds.
